Epoint — Platform localization

Industry:

Fintech / Digital Payments

Use Case:

Multi-format localization (website, admin panel, mobile app, marketing assets) into Georgian to support market expansion

Challenge:

Epoint, a digital payment aggregator and e-commerce platform for small and medium businesses, needed to localize its entire Georgian-market footprint into Georgian - the marketing website, client-facing web pages, admin panel strings, system error and validation messages, and mobile app screens - while keeping real customer data and account records untouched. The content lived across very different formats, from ordinary web copy to code-adjacent PHP localization files to marketing screenshots with headline copy baked into the image, and the team needed a partner who could move quickly against real business deadlines without breaking anything on the technical side.

How Algebras Helped:

01

Scoped the localization volume (around 130,000 characters) directly against the client's live site, separating translatable UI copy from client data and dynamic records that shouldn't be touched.

02

Delivered full turnkey translation of the website, applying the client's own content rules - keeping historical news in its original language while translating new content going forward, and translating only field and button labels on data-heavy pages without touching real customer records.

03

Extended the same workflow to structured, code-adjacent content - PHP interface, validation, and error-message files - translating them alongside standard web copy without disrupting the underlying code.

04

Caught and corrected in-context language issues before delivery, and kept extending coverage as new material came in - in-app screens, App Store marketing screenshots (both the UI text and the headline copy overlaid on each screen), and admin panel text - as the partnership grew.

Results

Around 130,000 characters of website copy translated into Georgian, with a clean separation kept between public UI text and private client data throughout.

Localization scope expanded from the website alone to admin panel system messages, error codes, the mobile app, and App Store marketing screenshots as the partnership grew.

Consistently fast, turnkey turnarounds kept pace with the client's own business deadlines, including time-sensitive stakeholder presentations.

Before Algebras: Epoint's Georgian-market content - website, admin panel, mobile app, and contracts - existed only in Russian and English, with no structured way to translate UI strings and system messages without risking client data or breaking code references.

After Algebras: A single, ongoing localization workflow now covers Epoint's website, code-level interface and validation strings, mobile app, and marketing screenshots in Georgian, expanding in step with the pace of their market growth.
